Tito added that the family had spent Sunday together to discuss plans about his brother's funeral. He said his Jackson's three children were in "good spirits."
Jackson’s burial is predicted to be the biggest in the history of entertainment and set to draw hundreds of thousands of mourners.
Many predict the event will eclipse that of Elvis Presley’s funeral in 1977 and could spark similar scenes to the emotional outpouring shown towards Princess Diana in 1997.
A host of celebrities among the mourners is expected to include Sir Paul McCartney, Madonna, Sir Elton John and Elizabeth Taylor.
The event is sure to be broadcast live on television and coverage is also expected to run over the internet.
Such is the expectation level in the US that some fans have even set up a website, www.michaeljacksonfuneral.org, in anticipation of the funeral.
